Support the Haiti Earthquake Survivors

January 12, 2010 – A severe earthquake hit Haiti and the entire world turned focus on this French-speaking Caribbean country. The earthquake resulted in huge damage to Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti. Presidential Palace, the main jail, most of the hospitals and the Port-au-Prince Cathedral were damaged or partially destroyed.
The earthquake hit the most populated region of the country. Death toll can be anywhere between 30,000 and 200,000. Just imagine, when the entire world was busy with their own work, Haitians were battling with this disaster. And the battle is yet not over. Think of those who have lost their beloved ones, their home and everything. It is our responsibility to support them get back on to the normal track of life.
It’s true that the loss cannot be compensated; however, a little support from us can help them lead a better life.
All the countries, corporations, and individuals from all over the world are sending relief to the earthquake victims in Haiti. Google has shown its concern by publishing Crisis Response in support of Haiti Earthquake Survivors. They have also announced to make all Google Voice calls to Haiti from US free for next two weeks.
